oreo02 Posted August 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2007 I will be cruising this Sunday and I am wondering what is the best and economical way to see Rome, Messina, and Florence. In Rome I want to see St. peters, vatican museum, Trevi fountain, Pantheon. In Messina, Mt. Etna and Taormino beach.

want2cruiseagain Posted August 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2007 We returned from Jewel cruise in July. We did the excursions through NCL and you can sign up on the ship. We did the Godfather tour in Sicily and you will see Taormina on the way. We also did the Cinque Terre in Livorno and I just loved it! We had a great tour guide too. Did Sorrento/Pompeii. Loved Sorrento tour, but did Pompeii in the afternoon and it was very hot and no shade except the what the buildings offered. Have a great time! We certainly did!
