Church Attendance in Santorini

Recommended Posts

We'll be in Santorini on a Sunday with the Oceania Insignia and I would like to attend church services. I am protestant, but would simply like to join locals for a church service while in town. Has anyone done this or can you make any recommendations about the feasibility of attending church while in Greece? Thank you so much!

Most of the churches and monasteries in Greece are Greek Orthodox. I'm not religious, but I attended a Greek Orthodox mass with friends in Kalambaka. The Greek Orthodox mass is very long and the locals go when they can and leave, most didn't stay for the entire mass. You should find out when mass starts and just go.

Oh, I know that there is a Catholic cathedral in Fira. Mass is at 10am.
