Christmas Day in Cozumel--what to expect?

Our ship will be in Cozumel on Christmas Day. What can we expect? Will the beaches, stores, taxis, be up and running? Two prior cruises have had December 25th as a day at sea.

Yup, everything will be up and running, but slowly. We celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve so we might all have headaches. Speak softly and don't make any loud noises Christmas day please!:D
