transportation to kinsale

i am going on the 9/3 century, what is the best way to get from cork (cobh) where the ship docks to kinsale?? is it too far to take a taxi?? are there public buses??

I've had a look at the Eirran bus site and there is a bus from Cobh to Cobb, No 241 which takes 17 minutes to the bus station, and a bus from the bus station to Kinsale No 249 to Kinsale Cross, which takes 50 minutes. So if your connections work out, it can be done in a bit over an hour.

Having never travelled on a bus in Ireland, I cant really advise you about this but this could be a fun trip as the distances arent that great and you will, I would imagine, meet the locals.

Take the train from Cobh to Cork,rail station next to ship,times on the web.

Bus station is a 5/10 min walk from station,next to Dunns Department store.

Bus no to Kinsale given previous posting
