The Zoo??

Is the St. Maarten Park Zoo worth doing? How can we get there? How much will it cost?

I thought the zoo was delightful. Small and not many exotic animals (unless you count the web-footed dog). Most everything is in fairly small cages, which is unfortunate, but the zoo seems to do what it can and the animals seem to be well cared for. We did the zoo as part of a ship's excursion (something like the natural wonders of St. Martin, I think). We had a very pleasant and knowledgeable young guide who gave us a comprehensive tour of the zoo. I'd recommend it; but then, as you may be able to guess by my screen name, I'm inclined to visit any zoo that's around.
