Golden Princess British Isles May 2004

Hubby wants to take is mom on her first cruise. I have been trying to get him to take ME for years. She is 84 and has never been out of the USA. I found the Golden Princess British Isles cruise and though it might be not too exotic for her (to her every one not born and raised in the USA for several generations is a "FURINER"). Also it is something I would not mind doing (Italy/Greece would be MY choice).

 

Any thoughts? Anyone taken this cruise or one similar?

I am assuming you are from the USA. My now deceased grandmother cruised well into her eighties. MY grandmother though would have had trouble dealing with a nine hour transatlantic flight.
