Opinions needed: Hawaiian cruise with 2yrs old infant

My spouse & I are planning on a Hawaiian cruise in the near future. We are debating on whether to bring our 23 mths infant along. Cost will not be a factor since he will travel for free. :D We told him along our Caribbean cruise last year when he was 13 months, and everything workout fine.

For the Hawaiian cruise, we would like to explore the islands and take excursions as much as we can & can afford. We are concerned that by bringing the kid along, he'll hinder us from doing some of the things we want to do in Hawaii. It seems there are so much to do and see in Hawaii. This will be our first trip to Hawaii.

Anyone here travelled to Hawaii with a young infant? Can you please share your experience, good & bad? Any regrets for bringing the kid along the trip?

Thanks
