Can anyone help me with directions to the Red Hook terminal?

I'll be travelling from CT in the Waterbury area. I would like to avoid 95 if possible but at the same time I would like an easy route.

go to the Merritt Parkway(state route 15) to the Hutchinson River parkway over the whitestone Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway towards LGA airport to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway continue on the BQE towards Brooklyn to the Atlantic Avenue exit a left at the exit and then the first right to the the terminal....
