Docking in Mazatlan

I will be on the Pride in January and am looking at different tours for each stop. In Mazatlan, the tours that I am interested in all pick up at 8:45 a.m. However, on the Carnival site, it says that we won't dock until 9:00 a.m. How accurate is that?:confused:

We just returned yesterday - we arrived in Maz. around 9 AM - email your excursion company and see if they wait at the pier for your arrival. I saw many tour operators on the pier that morning - maybe they just give an estimated time of departure -
