Princess air question

We are on the January 7th Royal Princess from Fort Lauderdale to Manaus.

 

We are trying to find out if we can just use Princess air from Manaus to Florida and book our own to and from Florida. Also I have found doing the open jaw flights quiet expensive. Would appreciate any help we can get.

Usually, this is not a problem. But, is there any reason why you wouldn't want to use Princess Air for this cruise? From what I can see, this cruise embarks and disembarks on Mondays. (Problems generally occur in FLL on Saturdays and Sundays, when a dozen ships are loading/unloading.) Good flights should be available on those days, even through Princess Air.

 

Hint ... go to a major airline's web site, and try booking a flight from your home town to FLL on January 7th (or 6th, if you prefer). If there's space available, and you get a decent (but not great) fare, then Princess probably won't have any problems with getting you there in a direct and efficient manner. Or, you could always try the air deviation alternative to get the flights that you want.

We often book our own airfare to the airport in the U.S. and then use Princess air from there, especially with open jaw flights we can find cheaper with Princess.

The one reason we do it is because it usually saves us 300-500 dollars by booking the first flight ourselves, and we can choose our flight times.

It should not be a problem at all.
