Where Is The Spice Market

I was just wondering where the spice market is in St. Maarten. How far from the pier is it? Quite a few of us in our group would love to go there.

It's in Marigot

if its in Marigot, that is on the french side of the island. you will need to arrange transportation but is very doable and Marigot has a charm all its own. :) :D :D :)

If you want lunch there are lots of choices right there or in the new harbor to the left at Port Royale. I would not eat at LaVie as their prices are very high. There's DF shopping in either direction from the market for perfume, liquor and other items.

There is also a spice area right at the pier. I don't remember the name but I purchased some passion fruit rum and some type of hot sauce from her booth. Really nice set up that she has and the rum bottle was handpainted.
