forward balcony question

we are in cabin 7228 on the LOS. Any comments on motion of the ship, noise, distance from public rooms etc??

I can't remember our cabin number, but we were the first cabin on the side of the Freedom. Deck 7. It was great. Although it was far from a lot of things. We had absolutely no trouble with motion.

thanks - I was getting a bit worried since from these threads it seems like the aft cabins have less motion and are more popular.

on liberty last week, deck 8, 2 cabins in from the front, port side, no problems with motion apart from one or two occasions (at night) when we actually encountered anything other than dead calm (but only because by then we were used to absolutely no movement whatsoever), so no worries there, but you'll need at least three changes of legs during a week's cruise, as the dining room and virtually all the other facilities are down the other end and it takes about 5 minutes - so set out early if you are particularly peckish :D

thanks for the tip. We will leave enough time to make it to where we are going and the way I see it - we may lose an ounce or two before every meal!
