honeydog714 Posted August 10, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2007 When we went it was a blast!! the waiters dressed up in pirate type costumes we all got bandana and special menus (sutiable for framing) at dinner, after dinner their was a deck party with fireworks and a pirate repelled off of the smoke stack, granted this was years ago so it could have changed but it was such fun we loved it! MESH Posted August 11, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2007 is it one of our formal nights *(magic western 7night) We will be going on our 8th Disney cruise in three months. Pirate nights are great for both kids and the "older" kids. It was not on a formal night when we cruised. :)
kaykels Posted August 13, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2007 Definitely NOT formal night because a HUGE majority of cruisers will be dressed in pirate attire. We always pack the pirate clothes. The menus will go along with the theme. It's a big dance party on deck with pirates and the characters, the band plays with dancing, and it's topped off with fireworks and a late night buffet. It's nothing INCREDIBLE taking place, just a lot of "MAGIC". Dress up, it's fun! On the Western, I think it's usually on Cozumel night. My daughter still tells me it was the best day of her life.
