Guarantee DD on the Crown

I booked a guarantee for category DD on the Crown in Feb. I don't expect to get an actual cabin assignment until right before we sail - or at least not until after final payment is due.

 

Is this correct? - Or, could I get an assignment sooner?

Your cabin assignment can show up from the day after you book right up until you sail. You just never know when it will happen. Best thing to do is just keep checking your Princess Personalizer, the moment they know, it will be posted there.

We have had them show up months in advance to just after final payment in the past. Agreed, some won't show up until you board, but that is very rare anymore. Best of Luck, hope you get a good location.

That's what I kinda thought. I check the personalizer once a day as I'm checking on my waitlist status for the late-seating. It's got to be one of the silliest things that I do each day. I started as waitlist #37 and I drop to #1 in about a week. It's just total curiosity as I know that at #1, and the ship isn't sailing until Feb, that I'll make it.

 

It's a funny thing to do --- but, still I do it. :D
