Yesterday's Liberty?

Just curious. Every Sunday I watch the ships go out to sea from our beach. Yesterday's CCL ship, I beleive it was the Liberty, seemed to leave very late, like 8ish. Then it moved FAST! Any ideas why it left so late? Last time it was because of the idiot that jumped off.
