Anyone done the Sandal Beach Break in St Lucia?

Would like to get a taste of Sandals and wondering about this.

We got a day pass for Sandals St Lucia a few years ago while on the Constellation. At the time it was a good value but Sandals doubled the price later that year--at that price ($100 pp) I'm not so sure. When we were there (late Jan) the resort looked very underbooked so I'm not sure why they would try to discourage day visitors that might decide to come back for a weeks stay. Food and drink was included and was quite good. Beach was so-so , spent more time in the pool with swimup bar.
