Wheelchairs on Cococay

This cruise, my 84 yr old Mom is coming along. It seems like I remember seeing "beach wheelchairs" on Cococay when we were there several years ago. They have big plastic wheels if I remember correctly.

Does anyone who has gone recently recall seeing them?

Yes they have beach wheelchairs. I was just there in March 07 with my 88 year old mother and had no problem. My mom can walk on and off the tender, but not in sand or very far. The wheelchairs are right at the tender dock on Coco Cay and are easy to get to and use.

We pulled a beach lounger down into the shallow water and my mom "sat" in the water on the lounger -- worked out well and she enjoyed being in the water.

She did, however, get a bit of sunburn so be careful of that strong sun, especially if she is not used to it.

You should have a very nice day@
