snorkeling after a hurricanne??

Headed for Western Caribbean next week on the Mariner of the Sea. Just wondering how long does it take for the water to settle after a hurricane? We are supposedly making stops in Labordee, Ocho Rio, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, but possibly we will be going Eastern side instead. I would think that the Caribbean would be prettty stirred up for days after it passess. Any thoughts??

The weather channel just said they expect that beautiful blue water to be back in the Cancun area and South of there, in 2 to 2 1/2 days. We will be leaving for an AI vacation there on Friday, and I'll have first hand info on the snorkeling after a hurricane, but it will be too later to help you.
