AB minisuite on Island

I am not familiar with the Island Princess and we have an AB minisuite Guarantee booked for Hawaii. DH says these balconies are totally uncovered and exposed so he is not happy. Is this true? How are the AB minis on the Island? Any problems we should be aware of? Thanks in advance.

I will be in a Cat AB on the Island's sister ship the Coral in 11 days. The room is c715 and is located on the aft bumpout.. I will let you know when I return..

Thanks for the offer but DH wants to cancel NOW unless I can convince him otherwise about the AB balconies.

The AB's under the bumpouts are covered.We had D335 for 15 days last year amd being uncovered was no problem.We enjoy a cocktail with our neighbors.

D311-417 are uncovered

D503-529 are uncovered

C205-231 are covered

C705-728 are covered

 

So, on a guarantee, you will not know until you get a room assignment.
