Where does Carnival send their ships to for drydock?

Anyone know where Carnival sends their ships for drydock?

 

We are on the Inspiration in October. It will be in drydock the whole month of September as part of a major overhaul. According to the news section on their website, Inspiration and Imagination will be the first to get the new waterpark and pool area overhaul. The pictures are awesome. I think they have also used facilities in Newport News, VA.

Atlantic Marine in Mobile did Sensation, Ecstasy, Elation and NCL Dream in 2006 as well as NCL Sun and RCI Granduer of the Seas earlier this year. Ironically, Holiday which homeports in Mobile went to Freeport, Bahamas for drydock. Go figure.

One of our cruises stopped in Freeport years ago and we saw one of the Carnival ships (can't remember which one) in dry dock. It was spooky!!
