Hello everyone,

I'm new to this site and I have really enjoyed reading all of the posts. I love learning about the ship we will be sailing on and the ports we will be traveling to.

I am curious about the Santuary you talk about. I have been on the Diamond and Sapphire and can't remember this feature. Did we miss something great??

We are traveling on the CB Sept. 16th and I would love to hear more about this.

Thanks for your help,

Sanctuary is an adults only "SANCTUARY" at the very front of the ship, ( right now only on Crown & Emerald ), on the Sports deck. You pay $10 PP for 4 hours either AM or PM. It's a place to be pampered. 4" thick matresses on the lounges, not even close to being crowded, personalized service, use of the spa pool. Just a place to get away and just relax, you can also get a massage there at extra $$$. Look at the deck plans for Crown or Emerald, Sports deck. Many who go there really enjoy it, others don't want to spend the extra $$$. We're sailing the Emera;d 11/26 - 12/06, party of 8, really looking forward to the "SANCTUARY"! We're cruising!

The sanctuary is a wonderful area for peace and quiet ....beware though that the 'quiet area' is not always quiet and the staff is not allowed to mention anything to screaming passengers in this area. With that aside, as it is not a normal occurence in this area, the chairs are great and the wait staff brings you cold citrus water and plush towels. I think it is worth the charge when quiet times are needed. You can book a massage (single or couples) in this area. yeah! The height of indulgence but will call it relaxation (a necessity!). I think you will enjoy the solitude and the comfy amenities. As already posted, not too crowded on the cruise I was on.
