Port of Call LeHavre...anyone been to Courseulles s Mer or Caen?

Recommended Posts

Courseulles is a nice holiday resort which is a part of Juno Beach. Consequently there is a museum which is dedicated to Canada and Canadians who landed there on June 6th

Caen is the main city of that part of Normandy. The city was totally rebuilt after WWII. Nevertheless it remains abbeys, churches and the rempart (perimeter wall) of the castel. It's a very living city, a university town with an interesting center town for shopping. There is also the Memorial a large museum dedicated to pre-war, war and post war.

Caen is one hour far from Le Havre. Courseulles is 30mn far from Caen.

Have a good time in Normandy.:)
