I am sailing on the infinity from SanFrancisco on sept 29. How tight are they on bringing alcohol on board. Any ideas as to how to do it? Also has anyone done this as a single?

We have a roll call for that cruise if you want to join it and say hi. Look for the roll call message boards, select Celebrity then Infinity and you will see a thread with the date of the 9/29 cruise. If you want, you can also sign up for our Cruise Critic connection party which is free and is usually held in Michael's Club the day after we sail.

 

Celebrity allows us to bring 2 bottles of wine on board per stateroom. Anything over that they can confiscate to the end of the voyage. There are some past threads on this board where some cruisers have stated how they have gotten past security with more, some trying to hide it, others openly taking it on board, but there will always be a risk that they will enforce their policy of only 2 bottles of wine.
