gzusnme Posted August 27, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2007 How do you prepay tips on Carnival? I can't seem to find it on their website. Did I overlook it? Thanks!
cherylandtk Posted August 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2007 It is asked when you make the booking; if you say yes it is added to the total cruise cost. If you say no, then you don't see it until you get on the ship. Since you are only a month or so from cruising, it would be easiest just to leave it as part of your onboard charges. OceanDreamin Posted August 27, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2007 I really like pre-paying the tips also. Call your TA or your PVP and let them know you want to do this, and they can just go ahead and charge it to your credit card now. Another idea is to buy yourself Fun Ship Dollars, and have them applied to your on-board account. To do this go to the Gifts link on the Carnival web site. Follow the instructions for buying the Fun Ship Dollars, but in the area where you enter your mailing address, enter "On Board Credit" in the street address. Enter your city, state and zip as normal. You will get an e-mail confirmation indicating that it has been applied as on board credit.
Payd Posted September 1, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2007 You could call Carnival and see if you can prepay. I like to leave them on my sail and sign card. As some have pointed out with pre-pay you have no way to get a refund even if service is really poor (haven't had poor service though). Payd:)
