Digital Scrapbooking

I have used Adobe Photoshop Elements to create digital scrapbooks. Pretty easy to use. It has backgrounds, frames, clip art, etc. You can add shadows, text. I scan brochures, stubs, dailies, whatever to include. I guess you could take pictures of souvenirs, haven't done that. I do take pictures of food. I took a picture of the casino carpet to use as the background.

Someone on the Photo Gallery board suggested PrintShop. Has a pic of one of their pages, pretty neat (post 13). http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=612915

I'm really interested in this too.

I've created a few digital albums using "Momento" www.momento.com.au which is absolutley brilliant (and FREE). You can use all the software free and it gives you link to share the album online when it's finished. You can then choose to leave it at that or purchase the album. I've purchased one and it's wonderful. But it's not a true scrapbooking site, it's just a digital album site. Have A Look Click on the pages to turn them.

I've never tried scrapbooking but would love to one day. I love the idea of adding all my bits & pieces to a scrapbook :)

I use Photoshop 7 to scrapbook. I haven't used any of my momentos yet. I have a bag full of them and I figure that I will scan most of them. Part of me wants to actually use some of them. Why else did I if save them and lug them all the way home!

Check out http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/ for classes and inspiration.

Wealth of info.

Hi there, I love to digtial scrapbook! I have used Microsoft Picture It and Microsoft Digital Image Suite. Picture It is so easy to use. It is an older program but you can usually find it on ebay. I like any of the editions after 2000.

Denise, I love DSP! I used to post on there all the time. My mom died, my hubby got sick and we moved in the last two years so I haven't seemed to have the heart in a long while. I have a feeling I may get a good kick start when I get back from my cruise with all my photos though! :D You can go look at my gallery if you want. My username is WyoGal.

Digital scrapbooking is so easy, less clutter and do over's are a breeze!:D I just scan in any keepsake elements that I want to add and then pack away the originals. There are tons of freebie papers and elements to get you started on the net. Have fun!!!

Hi there,

I use software from Creative Memories called Storybook Creator PLUS. You can use it to create professionally bound books with your pictures (8x8, 11x8.5 or 12x12) OR use it to create 12x12 pages to be printed with CM or Costco or other printers that offer the 12x12 size.

I absolutely LOVE the software as it is VERY easy to use. I am an IT person and consider myself very computer savy and also have Adobe Photoshop but I do NOT think that software is very intuitive for the average person/scapbooker...and it is half the price of Adobe.

And if you already have digital kits, you can still use them with CM's software.

And yes, I am a CM consultant if you have additional questions about the product or are interested in seeing a webinar (demo online).

I dabble in digital, and do traditional scrapbooking as well. I use Creating Keepsakes digital scrapbooking program, and recently purchased some digi kits from Scrapbook.com

I do not have a printer that prints out 12 x 12. I am currently trying to find a source to print out my 12 x 12 digi pages.

I use JASC Paint Shop Pro (Now owned by Corel) to do my digital scrapbooking It does just about anything you can do with Photoshop for a fraction of the price. Here is a door sign I made for my last cruise that will also double as the cover for our scrapbook for that cruise.

Here is a digi lo I finished last night about one of the excursions we took recently:

I used several different digital kits for this:

Rachel Dickson's "Seasons Change" and "Sea Swept" kits

K Schmidt's "Pour Me Another" kit

Melany Violette's heart shaped charm

Dea Spina "Our Rusty Alphas"

The design is based on a Becky Fleck page map.

I saw this sign the other day when I was looking for some ideas for door signs and just loved it. I don't know anything about digital scrapbooking though. Just wanted to say that I thought it was great!
