Honolulu - Post cruise excursion question

I have booked a post cruise stay in Honolulu with NCL at the HHV.

 

On the day of disembarkation, I would like to do an NCL excursion followed by a hotel drop off.

 

When I called NCL, I was told that this was not an option, as all buses go directly to the airport after the tour.

 

The rep suggested that from the airport I could simply "pick up the courtesy phone and call the hotel to request a shuttle pickup".

 

I am sure I read somewhere here that past cruisers had taken an NCL excursion and were offered either a hotel OR an airport drop off, but I can no longer locate the post(s).

 

Can anyone please provide some recent personal experiences?

Did the tour bus driver ask passengers whether they were to be driven to their hotel or to the airport?

If you do the Roberts tour, they will pick you up at the pier and then do a dropoff at your hotel. Just a suggestion. They are cheaper too!

We have stayed at the HHV and unlike most Mainland Hotels, they do not offer a shuttle that I am aware of. If you go to the Hotel web page, they refer to Charley's taxi which we have used many times. Enjoy! ALoha.
