Can anyone provide information on this hotel? We are searching for a hotel 2/15-17/08, seems everything is booked. We will be staying precruise and want to see some sites. Would like to be in the French Quarter area. Thanks in advance.

Some friends of our stayed there a couple of months ago and were very happy with it. I'm not sure why everything is booked: Mardi Gras is over by then. Probably a convention.

 

The Ambassador is about six blocks from the French Quarter, an easy walk or about a $7 cab ride. The area in between is the central business district, and is pretty safe.
