My Alaskan cruise that we took from August 18th through the 25th on the Sapphire Princess is posted under member reviews. I still need to do a review of the land portion, I hope to do that soon on this board.

I just wish I could fix my typos! I made it sound in the first sentence that only my husband and children went on the cruise. :rolleyes:

 

I also forgot to include the part where we saw whales while sailing away from Juneau. We stayed on our balcony for a couple of hours and saw quite a few whales. :)

 

I never saw one breach (though my husband did in Glacier Bay) but we saw lots of tails and backs. One was right off the side of the ship, very close. All the people who were watching on their balcony cheered for that one! Binoculars are very handy for spotting them, I recommend taking some with you.
