memecakes Posted August 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2007 My DH and I will be on the Triumph on Oct. 6th! I am so looking forward to our day on HMC. We plan on getting a clam shell and just enjoying the beach. I have read a few reviews though where people seam to have a difficult time getting off the ship. One or two of them have even stayed on the ship because of long tender lines. This has me a bit worried. Can some of you who have been on Triumph give me a few tips as to the quickest way to get off the ship? I know tours always get the first tenders but we don't want to book one one this stop. Thanks! bruce-r Posted August 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2007 If you are the only ship at HMC that day, you will probably get to use the large, land based tenders. In that case, you should have little difficulty getting off the ship. These are the Big Tenders.
twinkletoes4445 Posted September 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2007 I was going to say the exact same thing as Bruce did. :) You shouldn't have any problems getting off the ship. We were on the Zuiderdam we basically just walked to the tender area and got on the tender. They hold a lot of people and are pretty fast. It's nothing like what you'll probably experience in Grand Cayman, which may be what you are thinking.
