San Francisco Airport Transfer

We're flying in 2 days before cruise and need independent transfer from SFO to Fisherman's Wharf area hotel for 4 people. I've checked Super Shuttle and they seem pretty reasonable at $43 for the 4 of us. Is this too good to be true? Has anyone taken Super Shuttle in San Francisco? What other economical alternatives do we have? Is it worth it to reserve in advance or can we just flag down the shuttle and get the same rate? Thanks for your help. :D

Cab fare would probably be $35-45, so this sounds correct. book it.

Thanks for the info and website. Is it safe to just flag a shuttle down at the airport and hope for a good rate? Our friends arrive 30 minutes before us, so I'm a little reluctant to reserve in advance and then one of our flights might be delayed and we'd go to the hotel on our own.

when you walk out of the airport there are workers out there that can radio a shuttle for you ...

 

we did this when we flew to hawaii a few years

hopefully its the same, can anyone confirm ???
