Nonalcoholic beverides - allowed to bring onboard?

Hello,

My friend and I are not real drinkers and do not drink soda too much either. I have been reading through a variety of posts including this one (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=613789) which talks about the drinks that are included on board, but can't seem to find too many that deal with what types of drinks NCL will/ not allow that are nonalcoholic.

After reading 2 news articles about Carnival ships and changes to their policies regarding this, (see http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=1985 and http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=2026), I am trying to find NCL's policy on "other beveridges" being allowed (eg., a small case of bottled water for our Mexican port excursions)

Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

between 7 of us, the family brought a (1) 6-pk of regular pepsi fo rme, (1) 6pk of diet pepsi for DH, (2) 6-pk of dr pepper for BIL and a case of water for FIL and SIL. since i found out how good the tap water is, now i would just refill a bottle when i needed it. just don't go "over-board" with bringing sodas, you can buy more at the ports. those flavored powders for water work really well and are easy to bring.

Good to know. With so many changes to the policies, sometimes it's hard to keep up! If anyone has any idea about where a policy may/ not apply, please post the link.

(PS, yes...I realize I missed a letter in the thread title! ;) Whoops! And I said I didn't drink....) lol:p
