pick up time for self embark

My DH and I will be on the Crown leaving this thursday. We are having people pick us up at the end and plan on doing self embarkation. What time should I tell them to be there? Also keep seeing references to Brooklyn cruise terminal and Red Hook cruise terminal. Is it the same thing? If not which one does the Crown leave from?
