JGB Posted September 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2007 Question when Princess is "scenic" cruising in Alaska is the casino open? I ask as it appears that the ship is very close to land(ice) and not in "international" waters. thank you, JGB
joand452 Posted September 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2007 I couldn't remember, but DH said the casino wasn't open during the day while cruising College Fjord and Glacier Bay, but it was open at night. I loved that cruise!! Have fun!
Tina G Posted September 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2007 ?????? This reminds me of my first Alaska cruise. I was enjoying Glacier Bay from my private balcony. From the next cabin, also with an open balcony door, I could hear several men enjoying a baseball game on TV. The phone kept ringing, and one of the men would answer it and say something like, "Oh, yeah, honey! It's incredible! Never saw anything like it!", and go back to the game. Finally the wives showed up at the door, and the yelling began. "We paid all this money to see Alaska, and you're hear watching your stupid baseball game!!!" (I cleaned it up, folks.) :D
mommykim Posted September 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2007 The casino is open unless they are in the National Park like at Glacier Bay. You cannot gamble in a National Park.
