Mitchie872 Posted September 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2007 Does anyone know if they have Soy milk on the Freedom Class Ships?
Alexis Posted September 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2007 They prefer the passengers email their request so that they have a supply on hand for everyone who needs it. ;) Lactose-free/soy milk, Ensure, and kosher meals are no extra charge. All you have to do is notify us at least 45 days prior to sailing. Just send an e-mail that includes the guests' names, reservation ID number, ship's name and voyage date to the relevant address below: Food allergies - foodallergies@rccl.com

safari njema Posted September 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2007 thanks for the info! Who did you ask for the soymilk? Was it made available in the room or do you ask someone? Is it required that you request this ahead of time?
zantedeschia Posted September 6, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2007 thanks for the info! Who did you ask for the soymilk? Was it made available in the room or do you ask someone? I had the best luck ordering it in the dining room for any meal. In the Windjammer, I found I usually had to ask a supervisor. Is it required that you request this ahead of time? No, they stock it on all their ships.

Rare DCPIV Posted September 6, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 6, 2007 We've never had a problem getting soy milk on the ships we've been on. We do send the email request, just in case, but have always received a reply that soy milk is stocked on the ships. In the dining room, we let our waiter, assistant waiter, and head waiter know that our boys take soy milk, so they keep some handy for the table. At other meals, we just ask for it, and it may take a little longer. In the Windjammer, they often have to get it from the dining room, so it may take a little longer. However, before they put the Rhapsody in dry dock, they had a little bar area in the Windjammer that kept soy milk. D
