Can anyone tell me which hotels Priceline uses in and around Port Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, etc. for 3 stars? That is the highest that seems to be available.... Also, what prices have you been getting booked?

Thanks!

Take a look at http://p070.ezboard.com/fpricelineandexpediabiddingfrm222.showMessage?topicID=165.topic for a list of hotels in Priceline's Cocoa Beach/Merritt Island region.

I didn't, simply because I was absolutely certain that I wanted to stay at the Courtyard and they had a rate of $99 that I could get online. I've used PL for several other stays elsewhere, though -- definitely worth trying, but you have to be flexible.

The next level up from that same forum ( http://p070.ezboard.com/fpricelineandexpediabiddingfrm222 ) lists all sorts of winning bids. For example, someone recently got the Holiday Inn Oceanfront for $50 per night, with previous successful bids for that property ranging from 45 to 65. The Cocoa Beach Doubletree most recently went for $43 per night. These are all just good reference points that you can use. :)
