Diamond International Braclet

MOONMOUNTAIN

Recommended Posts

Just a note to say that Diamonds International gave away a nice pretend gold braclet with a charm for each port of call on our recent NCL

Spirit cruise,,, if you receive a card in your stateroom from them you will receive a braclet

at the first port of call and a charm, all together you receive a Salmon, Bear and Totem Pole - from our ports of call. Even if you never wear it = it is a nice keepsake of your trip. (Better than the $5.00 Tanzanite earrings you could buy from them on our other cruises.)

No, they give you are card at your first port of call that you fill out and take with you and you receive the braclet and charm, than after that we just asked for the charm and they gave them to us. You have to remember to go to the store as no one mentions it on the ship again.

We got the same offer from Celebrity during the february 2004 11 night mexican riviera itinerary. On the NCL spirit (May 22-30) my friend did not get a card in her cabin (the stewart said that he did not have enough). We mentioned it twice to Noel, the NCL Lattitudes/Shopping/Future Cruise salesguy who just pretended to look into it but never followed through.

According to Celebrity, Diamonds Int'l thought of this as a marketing tool to bring cruise passengers into its stores and it is uncertain how long the chain intends to continue the offer. icon_cool.gificon_smile.gificon_cool.gif

Did anyone get this bracelet offer while on RCI? We'll be on the Vision of the Seas and this would be great!

We also got the coupon on Holland America's Veendam. TCoupons were also on the table as we departed the ship at each port. I could not find the Alaskan charms on their website; just the Caribbean charms. I wanted to purchase a set for a friend. The free charms got us in a "charm" mood so we purchased additional charms at other stores in each port and on land tour. Most were inexpensive--$4-12.
