French Quarter Courtyard

Has anyone heard anything about this hotel? It's at 1101 N. Rampart St. and the prices are WAY below other hotels in this district. Orbitz quotes the price at $56 a night. I try not to be pessimistic, but can it be as good as the description says for so little money?

 

We're hoping to stay 2 nights before our Dec. cruise so we can see more of NOLA, and we really don't want to spend a large sum for a hotel - we got a great rate on the cruise and need to keep this trip low budget.

 

Any opinions from one who has stayed there, or has had friends stay there?

Try traveladvisor.com for this hotel. It is listed at #161 and I just say that to help you find it. There are good and bad reviews, but it may help you make up your mind if no one answers your question. Good luck.

Stay closer to the River !

 

If you're not used to a city don't stay on Rampart

 

There are so many nice places to stay in the Quarter, CBD and Warehouse district..

I agree. I wouldn't stay on Rampart, and I was born and raised in N.O. Try Hilton Riverside for the 'cruise special' they offer.
