Jamaica - Good Place for Family Day on Beach

Can anyone recommend a good place for several families with kids to spend the day on the beach? We will be traveling on Liberty of the Seas, November 17, 2007.

We went to Sunset beach. It's close, safe and fun. You just grab a cab (red liscence plate only) from the terminal building. It's a 2 min cab ride. They let you off at the gate of SS beach club. It's an all inclusive and they offer day rates for cruise passengers. $40 adults $20 kids. Includes all food, drinks and non-motorized water sports.

Sunset Beach is in Montego Bay. The Liberty docks in Ocho Rios. There is the Sunset Jamaica Grande which charges I believe $45 per person(not sure about kid's rates). I have been trying to get recent reviews but so far no bites. I too am travelling with kids on the Liberty on Dec. 2. We are choosing between Jamaica Grande and just hanging out at Margaritaville.

yes, you just show up. We did email to ask if they would be accepting cruise pax that day. I had read on the these boards that sometimes they are so full with thier own guests that they dont let anyone else come, but I really dont think that happens much this time of year.

RCCL has recently changed the Liberty to dock in Montego Bay. We were not aware either until I asked to excursion desk.
