Victoria - Royal BC Museum & Pub Tour

Is it logistically possible (docking at 8 am in Victoria) to do the Royal BC Museum and Titanic exhibit, get back to the ship, and take the Pub Tour with HAL that leaves at 12:30 noon? Hubby wanted to the the Pub Tour, so we're signed up. I would also like to do the museum in the morning.

Instead of booking the pub tour on the ship, do your own. After you are done at the museum take the little harbour ferry to Spinnakers Brew Pub, then after that take the ferry again to beside the Johnson St Bridge, and go to Swans Pub, then walk one block down to Fizguard and go to Canoe Club. Then finish off in Bastion Sqr. at The Irish Times. Those are the pubs on the pub tour. And yes this can all be done in a short period of time with no hasstle.

Honestly, I think you are pushing it to be done the Museum in 3 hours. The Titanic Exhibit is phenominal and you can easily spend 1 1/2 to 2 hours there. Plus you can see the rest of the Museum as well, another hour or so if you wish. The Titanic Exhibit opens at 9 am but if the lines are long, you will not get in right at 9. If you have a ticket reservation, you have to be sure you get there for the specific time or you forfeit - and we all know what disembarking a ship can look like ;) .

Yes, as stated perhaps you could do a pub tour on your own?

Well you know what, you can do both. You can. It's do-able. Just make sure you are out of the Museum and hailing a cab by about 12 noon, and make your way back to the pier for your tour (it leaves from the cruise ship terminal, yes?). You could walk to the pier but I think that would be pushing it (it can be done, about a 25 minute walk). Hubby wants to do the pub tour - I think you should do it, and you can still see the Museum but will have to watch the time, is all. :)
