Taxi from Penn Station to Pier

Hi Everyone,

 

We are booked on the Carnival Victory on Sept. 22 to Canada and New England. We plan to take the train to Penn Station and get a taxi to the pier. Does anyone know approx. what the fare should be? Also, how long should it take?

Done this several times. The fare is about $8, before tip and takes about 10 minutes. Warning; don't let some guy out front of Penn Station near the taxi line tell you he's going to line up a taxi for you. Just get in line and wait. There will be a guy hailing taxis for you there. I've seen several people fall for this. THen hang on; nothing like a cab ride in New York.

There are taxis all around Penn but if you're more comfortable you can get in line at the taxi stand. There is one on 7th Ave.

The station in Baltimore is also called Penn Station...although it is also called 21st street

well I was half right it is Penn Station Baltimore but the 21 street is the Phily stop :)

Thanks Sid. Was a little confused, since I live 3 miles from Baltimore's Penn Station. :D
