smeyer418 Posted September 14, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2007 Ok I am going to take you a field for restaurants with great view of the city but they aren't in Manhattan. River Cafe under the Brooklyn Bridge Waters Edge under the 59th street Bridge(in Queens) Giandos By the Water on the East river between The Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridge. All are nice different and Romantic. They are listed in Price order from High to low. My personal favorite is Giandos....River Cafe is the most dressy but most people won't be dressed in any one of them anyway.

madelinerose Posted September 14, 2007 #11 Share Posted September 14, 2007 I was going to say "One if by Land", but, here's lists from Gayot and Zagat. http://www.gayot.com/restaurants/bestof/NY_romantic.html http://www.zagat.com/resultslist/AjaxResults.aspx?Ntt=2420&Ne=6&Ntk=Geo5ID&VID=8&N=120+1313+4294919006+3697+3703+393&Ns=Name I always think that when asking opinions, Gayot and Zagat are strangers, just like the CC members. Opinions are opinions, doesn't matter where they originate. ;)
