Going on my first Carnival Cruise on the Fascination next month.

 

Any tips for a good time?

 

Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

 

We've cruised Carnival 3 times and booked for our fourth in January. Have cruised Celebrity, NCL, Royal Caribbean and Princess as well and have different areas of each cruise line we like better on one than another.

 

Have to say we've yet to have a bad cruise on any cruiseline so far but do enjoy our Carnival cruises among the top of the cruises we've taken so far.

 

To give you some background, both DH & I will be 60 this fall. Have been on 17 cruises so far since Nov. 02.

 

We do not cruise during Spring Break or summer months so we have not seen some of the problems other posters may post regarding problems on cruise lines during heavy family cruising season.

I did that cruise this last February.. It's a good time. Live bands poolside, Dirty comics at midnight at the Back showroom lounge, and of course a CASINO that's more then willing to have you play Blackjack till 3am. After your late night don't forget to order room service it's pretty good and included with your price. Fair amount of singles on board as well. Have fun.

Be sure to go the "Roll Call" for the Fascination on the Cruise Critic boards. Scroll down to your sailing date and meet your ship mates. You'll find it totally addictive. I don't know why everyone on this site doesn't register on the Roll Call. Cruise Critic should really explain the Roll Call system. It's great fun. :) Enjoy!
