Coupon Book Questions

1. Entertainment book - has anyone used the Princess coupons? If so, what did you do? Are they only good through Princess or can you check with your TA? New booking only or can it be applied to an already-booked cruise?

2. Cruise Night Coupon book vs. Princess Coupon Book - got a letter in my stateroom saying that my TA sent me a Cruise Night Coupon book but got a different coupon book with a note that says that Princess can substitute coupon books at any time - any clue what the difference is?

EB - yes, we used them to book our upcoming Caribbean Princess cruise. We simply gave them to our TA and we gave them to her AFTER the price was quoted. I always think they jack the price up if they see those coupons coming, just like a car dealer.

GG, the entertainment book coupon is a joke. IF you can use it RUN from that TA. They are only good on LBS love boat saver rates and those are much inflated over what you can get in the market.Princess coupon book is an ok deal.. 2fers... free photo if you buy three,$5 match play in casino, $5 off $10 internet use. etc. we had two "valued" at $140 and saved about $30 using both.

We have received nothing from our TA! No coupon Book of any kind, and no ship board credits. Oh, we did receive a cute blue, bottle or can plastic purse. Think it can be used to carry small wet bathing suits. How do you people get free stuff from your TA or Princess?

Hi folks!

Good to know about the entertainment book coupon :) I've done some checking and the rate I got from my TA is very nice and we were added to a pre-existing group so we are getting shipboard credits (no one is trying for a free room apparently - that is really cool!).

I'm not sure where the shipboard credits come from - sometimes from a group, other times from various promotions, and if you get an opportunity to get bumped from one cruise to another, they give you credits there (did that once and boy was it worth it!).
