staying on the ship on port days....

Those are great days to relax by the pool with hardly anyone in sight. The last time I did that was in Mazatlan and the cap'tn came in for a dip in the pool. Unforturntly, I was too shy to say hello. That same day myself and daughter-in-law went to the Spa for a hot stone massage. Port days prices are lower !!!!

Oh, man I am so looking forward to just such a day! I'm hoping for DH to take MIL ashore, I'll put the kiddos into Camp Carnival for a couple of hours, and then I'll just read a book on the deck, eat , maybe even have a drink (gasp!) - hey, I'll be off duty for a change!!!:p

We had a relaxing ship day while in port in Cozumel last week. I wasn't feeling good, so we decided not to go to the beach. We had most of the ship to ourselves - my daughter enjoyed the waterslide while no one was in the pool (it was PACKED on sea days). We played ping pong, mini golf, sat on the promenade deck and played cards, and enjoyed a lunch buffet with NO LINES at all, at any of the stations. It was great. I highly recommend it ;-)
