Beach options

I've been reading up on options for our NCL Dawn cruise. They offer a couple of beach excursions. Does anyone know anything about them? Long Bay Beach Resort?

I'm sorry but the only Long Bay Beach Resort I know of is on Tortola not on St. Croix. If you are looking for a beach option on St. Croix I would take a cab to any of the beaches along the west end where you will be docked. South of Frederiksted is Cottages by the Sea. There is a restaurant and bar next door called Sandcastles on the Beach. Or go north of town to Rainbow Beach. They have a bar/restaurant as well. You can make arrangements for the cab to pick you up or ask the bar to call a cab for you. If you want to see some of the island as well as the beach, go to the north shore up at Cane Bay. There is also a bar/restaurant there. Or out east to the Buccaneer Hotel. They charge for use of the beach but it's a very nice resort. Enjoy your cruise!
