XM Radio Signal - Western Caribbean

OK - - For any XM Radio fans out there. Any idea if we can get a signal from our balcony cabin on the Miricle in December. Cayman, Mexico(x2), and Belize are the ports not to mention at sea. We like to listen in the evenings, etc.

I was able to get my Sirius Sat radio to work while on the Glory western caribbean it worked all the way down to Belize and back!

They are still around...... They got fired from WAAF here in Mass for falsely broadcasting the Govenors wife was killed in a auto accident. I guess it was a gag...... They were always in trouble.....:eek:

I Emailed XM a few weeks ago to inquire about coverage and they just gave a vague reply about only being licensed to provide service in the continental US. I'm going to take mine to Nassau in Oct. and if it works, I'll take it on the World cruise in January. I suspect it will work in the Carribean and along some of the Mexican Riveria up to LA and then part way to Hawaii. Probably won't have any coverage after that, though. It would be nice if they had a worldwide network of satellites.
