slkmcs Posted August 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2004 Booked a cruise this week with an online TA. Got a good price..several hundred $$$ less than any other quotes and had checked 3 live TAs and 6 online agencies over a 3 week period. Just got an e-mail from one of the other one line agents with a price almost $500 lower yet..have e-mailed the booking agency and asked for their "assistance". What are the chances they will honor the price? The bottom line is the latest quote is almost $1000.00 lower than was quoted for the same cabin (BB) when I first started looking. Who says shopping does not pay?
srphnx Posted August 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2004 The chances are very good, it is likely a price drop from the CL. If so, it should be honored. If not, rebook. Of course shopping pays.
