kcparrothead Posted November 2, 2009 #351 Share Posted November 2, 2009 I have a question about snorkeling - how is the Palancar Reef they take you to from Nachi? I know farther up the coast (Playa Uvas) there wasn't much to look at (because of Hurricane Wilma,) but was curious if Palancar is a decent place to snorkel. I guess that is all in the eye of the beholder! I don't have much to compare it to, only snorkeled in Hanama Bay and Coz and I didn't see Palancar before Wilma. It's majestic and full of fish so it works for me :)
kcparrothead Posted November 2, 2009 #353 Share Posted November 2, 2009 My favorite snorkeling places so far have been Virgin Gorda and Grand Cayman. How was the reef itself? Were there colorful sea fans and brain coral for example? I think I enjoy looking at the coral and stuff more than seeing fish! Am I weird? :)
