When is spring break

For Metro Detroit (Michigan) high schools and elementary schools winter break is in Feb and then Spring Break is after Easter (March 27,2005). We are on winter break in our district Feb 14-18. It is this week every year. And we cruise every year this week and there is always lots of kids and the price is always higher! 3 more years, my son graduates and we can cruise at non winter/spring break times!

I'm a teacher from michigan, and cruise during feb (winter) break. I didn't notice an increase of kids when we were cruising last time. I do know that different schools and colleges break at different times during March and April. (My break is always a week different than my mom's. She's at a different district) Anyways, it varies in the colleges too, so I just consider March-April "spring" break. Not all schools in Michigan do the "winter break, week off in Feb" My mom wishes they did though!!!
