serene56 Posted September 29, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2007 the lounge entrance is located on the main deck. youwont get passengers goming and going from the disco on the riveria deck. We stayed in 1211 on the Legend- it was an awesome location.
baseball16 Posted October 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2007 Personally I have not stayed this far down but would never never stay under the bars and discos and theaters. It's a vacation and it goes by so fast you don;'t want to be kept awake all week from noise it really makes you cranky every day of the trip. We have been on ships where you could hear the people next door talk all night and people going up and down stairs, newer ships are better today about that. Have also been kept awake all week by DH snoring and really felt bad every day. Don;'t need to add this extra noise. Have fun, it's a money issue and preference for everyone. Some people it may not bother.
serene56 Posted October 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2007 The Spirit class ship has a wonderful soundproofing system. On the main deck aft-- head to the back and stand outside the disco (which is located at the Jazz club) you will hear nothing at all from the disco--- until you walk in to the revolving glass doors.. then you will hear nothing at all from the jass band. heading down to the Riveria deck--- stand out side the hall where the disco is located--- you wont even hear the think thump thump of the bass. I have stayed on the aft on deck 6 a few times-- Destiny and Victory -- above the lounge and not ever heard anything inside the cabin. Inthe hall -- that was a different story.
